Employer presentations
Presentations can be an effective way of raising your organisation’s profile on campus and publicising recruitment opportunities.
The University Careers Services offers employers the opportunity to promote your business on campus through delivering presentations to students. These are typically held in a lecture theatre in the evening from 6-8pm to avoid clashes with lectures. Some organisations choose to follow their presentation with nibbles and networking, which is an ideal opportunity for students to ask questions in a more casual setting. There is a cost associated with venue hire, catering and targeted emails.
It is a good idea to check the Academic Calendar to work out when the students you want to target are on campus.

Another way to promote your business on campus is to attend a careers fair or niche event which are held throughout the year.
