Examination clashes
Find out what to do if you have an examination clash.
Although every effort is made during the scheduling process to minimise the occurrence of examination clashes, there will be instances where it will be unavoidable for students to have two examinations scheduled at the same time.
If you are affected by an examination clash, arrangements will be made for you to sit both examinations on the same day — your examinations will NOT be rescheduled to another day. You will sit one of the affected examinations in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
To prevent contact with other students sitting the examination at the original time, you will be held over the lunch period between examinations. If you are affected by a clash then the Examinations Office will send an email to your student email address advising you of your examination clash arrangements and reporting instructions.
