Course load: The University considers a student full-time if he/she schedules a total of 12 or more credits, excluding course audits, from any combination of courses through resident instruction, Continuing Education, or World Campus.
Every semester, International Student Services provides a mandatory comprehensive New International Student Orientation. The orientation program covers necessary procedures for registration, employment, paying bills, as well as other regulatory and academic matters.
New International Student Orientation is also the perfect time to make new friends and discover more about Penn State and the surrounding community. Social and cultural activities are held throughout the week.
