Health care services
The University of Auckland provides students with a professional primary health care service ensuring the health and well being of our student community.
The primary care team is a skilled and experienced group of General Practitioners (GPs) and primary care nurses committed to providing a quality health care service, across the four Auckland campuses.
The service is available throughout the year, from Monday to Friday. It is also available during semester breaks but the hours and locations will differ from the semester times.
Primary Health Organisation
We encourage all domestic students to register and enrol with the Health Service, making it your Primary Health Organisation (PHO).
When you receive treatment at your PHO, you pay a discounted rate to see the doctor and you also pay less for prescriptions.
To register University Health Services as your PHO, please complete the form below and return it to the centre in person or by mail.
