Fields marked with * are mandatory.

You are asked to enter your highest tertiary qualification (either completed or in progress). If your highest qualification is not relevant to the programme, and you have another tertiary qualification that you feel is more relevant, you may enter that one instead.

Remember that entry to a doctoral programme normally requires one of the following:

  • A masters degree with first class or second class (division 1) honours.
  • A bachelors degree awarded with first class or second class (division 1) honours.

Highest tertiary qualification: If you do not find your qualification in the drop down box, select the blank at the top of the list, and you will then be able to enter the name of your qualification in the "Other" field.

Name of the institution: If your university is not listed in the drop down box, select the blank at the top of the list. This will enable you to enter the name of your institution in the "Other" field.

Summary

On this page, a summary of the information you have provided in all the earlier pages is displayed, in a series of boxes, one for each page.

First box: In the first box are listed all the pages with a green check against those you have completed, and a red "x" against any that are incomplete. You will be unable to submit your Expression of Interest while there are any red crosses.

There follows a box for each panel, listing the information you have provided in that page. Check the details carefully, and edit or amend them as necessary: Once you have submitted your Expression of Interest, you cannot make any further changes to it.

To edit/amend details: In each box, there is a link "Change these details…" which, when clicked, will take you back to the relevant page. Once there, you can edit the details as you wish, then click on the "Save and Next" button to save any changes. You can then use the menu to navigate back to the "Summary" page, which should display the new details, and a green tick in the "Summary" box.

Once you are ready to submit your Expression of Interest, and have no further information to provide, documents to upload, or details to amend, click the "Submit" button.
