Graduate Diploma of Teaching English in Schools to Speakers of Other Languages (GradDipTESSOL)
The GradDipTessol is a highly specialised qualification for early childhood, primary and secondary teachers of recent migrants and all students with language needs.
Many students need their learning to be structured in ways that make the language demands of the curriculum specific and accessible. The GradDipTESSOL gives a theoretical and practical foundation for planning language-based programmes.
You can apply for admission to this graduate diploma if you:
- Have completed a bachelors degree, eg, MIT Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching).
- Have two years' relevant professional experience.
- Are currently teaching in an educational setting.

Attendance is once weekly for the core compulsory courses. The core electives and electives are generally taken as holiday block-courses.
