Welcome to Disability Services at The University of Auckland. Our role is to support students and staff with a range of impairments to succeed and excel within the University. 

 

Can Disability Services Help You?

Yes, if you have a permanent or temporary disability/impairment that affects your study.

As long as you can provide us with relevant medical/professional evidence, we may be able to help you if:

  • You have a mental health condition.
  • You have a learning disability.
  • You have impairment due to a medical condition.
  • You have physical/mobility impairment.
  • You have a vision or hearing impairment.
  • You are blind or Deaf.
  • You have impairment due to a head injury.
  • You have speech impairment.

Disabilities Services staff do have specified office hours. However, as they are often out of the office attending to practical needs or meetings, we suggest you contact us to make an appointment.
