The University of Auckland is also a member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), Universitas 21 (U21) and the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). APRU is a consortium of 42 leading research universities in the Pacific Rim. U21 is an international association of comprehensive, research-intensive universities, with 23 member universities in 13 countries. WUN is an international university network focused primarily on research collaboration, postgraduate education and research funding.
