Official visits to the University
The University of Auckland regularly receives visitors from counterpart universities, governmental agencies and institutional partners from overseas. The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Engagement) is responsible for the coordination and management of such visits.
In planning each programme, the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Engagement) seeks to make appointments that provide the opportunity for valuable exchange of ideas and information which will be of mutual benefit to the visitor and The University of Auckland community.
In order for each visit request to be properly evaluated potential visitors are asked to fill in a visit request form:
The information provided in the form will allow the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Engagement) to prepare a visit programme that takes into consideration the specific objectives of the visiting group and their alignment with the university's capabilities and interests.
Requests submitted by travel agents must be accompanied by a letter from the lead institution in the group.
Visitors seeking maps for self-guided walking tours with historic highlights of the campus can visit University House, 19a Princes Street, Auckland City.
