Foundation Certificate Tohu Tūāpapa Mātauranga
This is a specialist foundation programme to help bridge you into tertiary study at the Faculty of Education.
You will develop your proficiency in te reo Māori and knowledge of tikanga Māori while gaining essential learning and tertiary study skills.
Programme Highlights:
- Successful completion of this certificate allows admission into the Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Huarahi Māori specialisation or any other undergraduate programme at the Faculty of Education (provided all other additional requirements are met).
- A great opportunity to develop your Māori language skills and knowledge of tikanga Māori.
- Develop your study and learning skills for future tertiary study.
- Learn in small groups in a supportive whānau environment at the faculty’s Te Puna Wānanga.
