This exhibition presents the research of Irena Keckes, University of Auckland PhD candidate, featuring prints are that created in the method of Japanese water-based woodcut printing, and explore the form of a three-dimensional print installation. The works draw on Zen aesthetics, and touch upon the notion of repetition - not as a stereotyped or an automatic repetition of one object, but the repetition embodied within processes of making prints.
