“Gentleman’s Hour” gives way to nightmares, magic and ritual, and sheer noise.
These moments of rawness and passion are explored through an investigation of roots and sound-and-image crafting in reactionary culture.
Through the processes of installation and collaboration, “Gentlemen’s Hour” discusses improvisation’s properties of discord and confusion as an alternative understanding of ‘communication.’ The resulting hubbub of work can be understood as a backwards and bewitched display of the artists’ shared sensibility.
