The University of Auckland Debating Society will be pitching their top talkers against each other in an exciting free student event. A warm up to the Auckland Writers and Readers Festival which kicks off on the same day, the Debating Society will discuss the highly controversial topic of War. As a prelude to Michael Hastings and Nicky Hagar’s Writers on Campus session on the Afghan War, our Debating Society will delve deeper into this discussion.
