Linearita will attempt to demonstrate how the etching process can engage with a contemporary audience in its traditional format. It will focus on the use of etching as a means a drawing as well as the advantages that this method of working can offer for experimentation and developing ideas. The works will be representational and engage with ideas of labour and process through the medium itself, though each work may have an additional/alternative conceptual framework specific to the artists involved in the show.
