Purpose: The aim is to advance composites research and develop young engineers through theoretical modelling, practical application and informative publication. Synergy means the combination of two or more things to produce an effect greater than their individual effects. A composite material is made when two or more distinct materials are combined to produce a new material displaying synergistic properties. The Centre is established in collaboration with the Forest Research Institute.
