Accommodation and Halls of Residence
The University currently has four official Halls of Residence: Grafton Hall, Huia Residence, International House and O'Rorke Hall. Accommodation is also available in self-catering flats in Grafton and Parnell.
Halls and flats are available for conference groups and individuals during University holidays.

Art gallery: George Fraser Gallery
The George Fraser Gallery exhibits work by Elam School of Fine Arts students, and is open Wednesday - Saturday, 11am - 4pm.

ATMs
ATMs can be found at the back of the Student Union at 34 Princes Street, on Level 1 in the Kate Edger Information Commons, and on Level 1 in the Owen G Glenn Building.
Auckland University Press (AUP)
AUP produces scholarly and general interest works including poetry, fiction, history, biography, politics and economics. All books are for sale at its premises at 1 - 11 Short Street, Auckland City.

There are two bank branches on the City Campus: the National Bank has a branch on the Ground floor, Kate Edger Information Commons, 9 Symonds Street; ASB Bank has a branch on Level 1, Owen G Glenn Building, 12 Grafton Road.
Bindery
The University Bindery binds theses and private works.

Bookshop
The University Bookshop sells textbooks, stationery, magazines, reference books, a range of fiction and non-fiction, and University memorabilia. It also purchases second-hand texts for resale.

The Campus Pharmacy sells cosmetics, general medicines, toiletries, sports products, stamps, and phone cards. It also processes film and is an agent for NZ Post.

Food
On the City Campus, food can be bought in the main Student Union cafeteria, in the Postgraduate Lounge on Level 4 of the Kate Edger Information Commons; in cafés and food outlets around the Student Union; and in cafeterias at the School of Engineering Building, the Human Sciences Building, and the Law School. There is also a café at the Medical School at Grafton Campus, and a variety of food outlets on the Tāmaki Innovation Campus.

Information Commons
The Information Commons facilities at The University of Auckland consist of the Kate Edger Information Commons on the City Campus, the Grafton Information Commons on the Grafton Campus, and the Epsom Information Commons at the Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library.

Lectures and seminars
Many lectures and seminars are open to the public, and are free of charge. The Winter lectures, Sir Douglas Robb and Inaugural (new professors') lectures attract wide interest.

Library
The University of Auckland Library is the biggest university library in New Zealand, containing over 2.2 million items. The General Library is located at 5 Alfred Street on the City Campus; smaller libraries are also located at the Epsom, Grafton, and Tāmaki Innovation campuses; at the Leigh Marine Laboratory, and the Tai Tokerau Campus. Some individual departments also have library facilities.

Maidment Theatre
The Maidment Theatre is located on the corner of Alfred and Princes Streets and operates two of Auckland's finest venues for dance, music and theatre: the Kenneth Maidment Theatre (seats 440); and the Musgrove Studio Theatre (seats 100). Both theatres are available for hire.

Music Theatre
The Music Theatre at the School of Music is the venue for regular concerts by University students and visiting musicians. It is available for hire at weekends and during University holidays.

Recreation Centre
The Recreation Centre provides a wide range of facilities and services to students, staff and graduates at the City Campus, including: a health and fitness studio, cardio theatre, aerobics studio, sports hall, recreation programme, express exercise studio, and a stretching and core training room.

The Student Union can accommodate from 20 to 700 people for seminars, meetings and social functions. Cocktails, suppers and full meals can be catered.
