Recruiting students and graduates

Our students and graduates are highly sought after internationally. Each year, we award more than 10,000 degrees in a range of leading professions including business, education, engineering, law, medicine and politics.

We maintain relationships with many large employers in New Zealand and overseas who are continually looking to recruit full-time graduates into professional roles. Employers seek out graduates from The University of Auckland because they are taught by our country’s brightest minds in New Zealand’s leading university.

Employers may also work with the University to set up internships, voluntary and other work experience opportunities for current students. These opportunities may develop into industrial placement projects or thesis research topics.

University Careers Services assists employers wishing to raise their profile within the University and/or recruit students and graduates. Services for employers are:

NZUniCareerHub
NZUniCareerHub is an easy-to-use recruitment website for employers wishing to advertise vacancies to students and recent graduates. Through NZUniCareerHub, employers can access students from The University of Auckland and six of New Zealand’s other universities.

Each member university has its own local 'hub' for students - the portal for The University of Auckland is called Auckland CareerHub.
