If your answers are mainly ‘Maybe’ or ‘Not really’, you probably need some assistance with your career planning and job seeking. You may like to consider the following:

  1. If you are a doctoral student, take a look at a list of current career planning workshops offered in the Doctoral Skills Programme.
  2. Attending careers workshops on skills, CVs and cover letters, job hunting and interviews.

  3. Postgraduate students can also attend IT training workshops through CAD - The Centre for Academic Development.
  4. If you would prefer to see a careers consultant on a one to one basis, individual appointments are available.  In these sessions you can discuss all aspects of your career planning including, identifying skills and developing and working on your CV.
