Internal credit

To seek approval for the award of credit for courses passed for a completed (or almost complete) University of Auckland undergraduate degree or diploma to a second University of Auckland undergraduate degree or diploma then you must use the AS-22 form.

Cross-credit must total no more than one-third of the requirements for the programme. If crediting between two programmes with different values, cross-credits are limited to one-third of the total value of the shorter programme.

Internal credit is a form of cross-credit used where specific courses cannot be cross-credited, eg, where courses with substantially similar content have different course titles in each of the two programmes.

Regulations governing cross-credits are the Credit Regulations and, for postgraduate programmes, the General Regulations.
