Other activities:
Tours of our Halls of Residence
Guided walking tours of O’Rorke Hall leave from the Accommodation Desk at the Recreation Centre from 9am-1:45pm. We also have a “Halls Tour” shuttle that leaves from and returns to O’Rorke Hall, and goes to our other Halls of Residence: Grafton Hall, International House, University Hall and Huia Residence. You are also welcome to make your own way to the Halls, and if preferred, you can break up your tours to suit your programme for the day.

Guided tours of City Campus leave from outside the ClockTower.
AUSA (your Students’ Association)

AUSA will have entertainment throughout the day in the Quad and all around the campus. Go along and check out our student clubs and performances, our sports clubs, and the free BBQ, DJ and live bands!

Theatre of Freedom
George Fisher Gallery, 25a Princes Street, 11am-4pm
The George Fisher Gallery is a purpose-built public exhibition space for professional presentations of artwork produced at Elam School of Fine Arts.
Henrietta and Lola Ann Tunbridge Watercolour Award Exhibition
ProjectSpace B431, Ground Floor, Elam School of Fine Arts, Whitaker Place, 11am-4pm
ProjectSpace B431 is a purpose-built public exhibition space for professional presentations of artwork produced at Elam School of Fine Arts.
Dance Performance
Journey to China
7.30-9.30pm Maidment Theatre, 8 Alfred Street
Cost: $25 adults, $15 students and children
A special fundraising performance by talented students and guests of the Dance Studies Programme at the National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries (NICAI). All proceeds will go towards the Dance Studies student tour of China later in the year.
Journey to China will inspire your imagination and hopefully encourage your participation in helping our students to make their own journey to Nanjing, China, where they will represent The University of Auckland and New Zealand while they explore, understand, teach and experience dance in another country.
