Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (PGDipHSc)
The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences offers current health professionals, and those with a relevant undergraduate qualification, a wide range of courses in the Advanced Nursing and Mental Health Nursing specialisations.
This postgraduate diploma can build on the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences or can be taken as a stand-alone qualification. It allows students to undertake coursework and research, and can lead into a masters degree - Master of Nursing or Master of Health Sciences. Specialisations
The PGDipHSc specialisations available to MIT nursing graduates:
- Advanced Nursing
- Mental Health Nursing
The PGDipHSc is open to MIT students who:
- have completed the MIT Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent approved professional qualification
MIT Bachelor of Nursing - have at least two years of relevant work practice.
Credit

Master of Nursing
When completing the PGDipHSc you may advance your knowledge and skills with the Master of Nursing.
Master of Health Sciences
Completing the PGDipHSc opens a pathway to the Master of Health Sciences. With this degree, you can expand postgraduate study in a health related field.
