Tuition fees 2012 for undergraduate students (international)

The University of Auckland charges tuition fees on the basis of your course enrolment rather than by programme. The fees for courses vary from faculty to faculty and sometimes within a faculty. If a particular course requires a greater share of The University's resources in terms of teaching or equipment, these courses may be charged at more than the standard rate for a particular faculty.

The table below lists the estimated tuition fees for undergraduate programmes for international students for 2012. In addition, you are required to pay a student services fee. This is calculated on a per point basis. The student services for 2012 fee is $5.74 per point (GST inclusive).

The per-year tuition fees set out below are indicative only and are based on a standard full-time study load of 120 points per year, assuming that all your points are taken within the faculty that teaches this degree.
 

 *Bachelor of Pharmacy is not currently available to international students.
**Fees for inter-faculty programmes, or programmes combining undergraduate and postgraduates courses, or courses selected from more than one listed programme, are calculated by deriving a fee for each course from the programme fees listed in the schedule above.

1. The fees listed in this schedule are per point and includes the Course and Materials Fee. The programme fees listed in this schedule are based on an enrolment in a standard full-time course load of 120 points per year. Fees will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis where the enrolment is in more or less than a standard full-time load.

2. Fees for inter-faculty programmes, or programmes combining undergraduate and postgraduates courses, or courses selected from more than one listed programme, are calculated by deriving a fee for each course from the programme fees listed in the schedule above.

3. Study Abroad students pay a single flat fee of NZ$11,900 per semester, which covers tuition fees for a full time course of study. This also covers the International Orientation programme, access to Student Services and membership of the University Students Association.

4. The student services fees are payable by international students at the same rates applying to all students.

5.BA(Hons), BCom(Hons), BHB(Hons), LLB(Hons), BMus(Hons), BNurs(Hons), BProp(Hons) and BSc(Hons) are postgraduate programmes.
 

Conjoint programme tuition fees will vary depending on the particular programmes you enrol in, but should be within the range above.
