What is the University of Auckland Commonwealth Scholarship?
The University of Auckland Council awards UA Commonwealth Scholarships. The scholarships are available to students to be enrolled at the University of Auckland for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, or another approved Doctorate.

What does the UA Commonwealth Scholarship cover?
The emolument attached to a UA Commonwealth Scholarship is currently NZ$22,500 per annum plus fees and other allowances.

Who is eligible?
UA Commonwealth Scholarships are available to students who are citizens of Canada and Britain.  The scholarships are tenable for a maximum of thirty-six months for a PhD candidate.

Applications for UA Commonwealth Scholarships must be made through the appropriate organisation in the scholar's home country on the Commonwealth Scholarship application form.
