Norwich is one of the most vibrant and interesting regional cities in England. Located just one and a half hours from London and forty minutes from Cambridge, Norwich lies in the heart of rural East Anglia and boasts a history and culture second to none.
Norwich has been a thriving trading city for the last 900 years and for much of that time was England’s second city after London. The Cathedral, the Castle, the Royal Arcade, the University of East Anglia and the Forum are all exemplars of high quality design and architecture across the ages. The city is consistently rated as one of the top ten shopping venues in the UK and is a founder member of the Cultural Cities Network.
The city is surrounded by beautiful countryside and within easy reach of the sea. A wide variety of visitors come to the region every year to enjoy boating on the Broads, the protected nature and wildlife habitats as well as differing traditions of seaside towns.

The normal workload for students attending UEA is:

Transcripts
You will not need to request a transcript at the end of your study at UEA. A transcript will automatically be sent to your home institution. If you need an additional transcript to be sent to your home address, your School of Study will need a forwarding/home address, as the transcript/marks statement is produced by the School of Study.
All international students are invited to an Orientation Programme that is held before semester begins.
The aim of the programme is to give new students a range of information about the university and to provide an opportunity to clarify any matters of concern to them. The programme will include some social activities and a reception to welcome new international students.
