Biorobotics

The biorobotics research group develops cutting-edge electrical and mechanical systems for assistive robots and medical treatment.

Our efforts focus specifically on the development of new, directly connected, high-force electric motors, with the force capability of human muscle but the speed and precision of human technology.

Our current research topics include robots for upper-limb and lower-limb assistance and rehabilitation for stroke patients, devices for diagnosis of shoulder injuries, needle-free drug delivery systems, and fundamental research on motor design.
