Equity in recruitment, selection and appointment

Unconscious bias refers to a bias that we are unaware of. It is driven by exposure to cultural stereotypes. Staff are encouraged to become aware of and overcome any biases they may have.

The Equity Leadership Committee's role is to ensure aspirational equity goals and enhance the University’s equity achievements.

The Equity Community of Interest's assists implementation of equity across faculties and advises the Equity Leadership Committee
