WUN membership expands to Latin America
The WorldwideUniversities Network (WUN) is delighted to welcome two new members to the network. Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC) and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) are the network’s newest additions and further empower the global reach and influence of WUN as a leading international network for its membership and the wider world.
UFMG hosts 8 out of the 12 National Institutes of Science and Technology (INCTs) located in the state of Minas Gerais, where state of the art research in the fields of animal husbandry, dengue fever, molecular medicine, mineral resources, water and biodiversity, nanotechnology, public security, vaccines,
and web related research is carried out.
TEC’s areas of research focus include biotechnology and food; information and communication technologies; energy and sustainable development; mechatronics and engineering; public policy; medicine; education, the humanities, and social sciences.
