Baillie Eco-Home Tour
Interested in architecture and sustainability?
The University's energy manager, Russell Baillie, has designed and built his dream family home in Mt Eden, Auckland. The initial design was to be self-heating during the winter, net-zero energy (averaged over any 12 month period) and wheelchair friendly. It's now close to meeting the New Zealand Green Building Council's 10 Star Homestar rating standard and the Living Building Challenge's net zero energy petal. It has already received LifeMark's 5 Star rating.
Come along on this tour of the Baillie Eco-Home as part of Sustainability Week. Transport will be provided there and back from the City Campus. Limited places, so please register below to secure your spot.
