Third Party Assistance in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Guidelines

28 July 2015

The Third Party Assistance in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Guidelines have been updated.

The Guidelines provide information to ensure that students and staff understand the benefits of, and limitations on, seeking advice from third parties on undergraduate and postgraduate coursework.  The Guidelines are to be read with the Student Academic Conduct Statute.

Changes to the guidelines include:

  • revision for clarity and accessibility of language
  • removal of the requirement for students to declare when submitting an assignment the nature and extent of any third party assistance they have received
  • content aligned with the Academic Integrity Course

The Guidelines on Third Party Editing and Proofreading of Theses and Dissertations have also been reviewed.
