About academic integrity

Academic integrity is a vital part of a successful academic career.

The University of Auckland student population comprises a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and previous experiences. The University has a range of resources, including the new online Academic Integrity course to support students in developing an awareness of academic integrity and understanding of how to put it into practice.

Resources for supporting staff in integrating academic integrity in subject-specific contexts and in preventing and detecting academic misconduct are available.

Advice for academic staff

The Policy Register also contains The Student Academic Conduct Statute. Staff members who suspect academic misconduct should consult the Statute, which outlines the procedures for investigation, before taking any action.
