The University of Auckland, in collaboration with its new Public Policy Institute and the University of Auckland Society, is hosting a political debate that will focus on Auckland issues.

View of the Auckland waterfront from the harbour, including the Cloud, the Ferry Building and the Sky Tower.

Prominent Auckland MPs are taking part including:

  • Paul Goldsmith (National),
  • Phil Twyford (Labour),
  • Julie Anne Genter (Greens),
  • Tracey Martin (NZ First),
  • Tasha Hohaia (Māori Party),
  • Mika Haka (TOP) and
  • Brooke van Velden (ACT).

The debate will be convened by Associate Professor Jennifer Curtin, Director of the Public Policy Institute.

University alumni, staff and students are invited to attend, along with members of the public.
