Teina Pora - To No One Deny Justice
Teina Pora - To No One Deny Justice by Nigel Swinn

The Law School and its Centres invite you to a special event welcoming and blessing the superb Nigel Swinn portraits of Teina Pora and others that featured in the exhibition curator by Erin Griffey for the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta. The portraits challenge whether all have access to justice in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The portraits now have a permanent home on the 7th floor of building 810, where four of the Law School’s five specialist Centres have their base.

You are invited to view the portraits, participate in a discussion on access to justice, hear something of how the Law School Centres are working to strengthen access to justice and join us for refreshments.

The event is hosted by the New Zealand Centre for Human Rights Law, Policy & Practice and the Aotearoa Centre for Indigenous Peoples and the Law. Also participating are the Centres for Environmental Law, ICT Law and the Centre for Law and Business.
