Dr Jackie Blue will talk about the so-called ‘diversity dividend’, which sees organisations that focus on increasing diversity and inclusion in management and leadership build culture and productivity.

Dr Jackie Blue, a GP and former MP, has been Equal Employment Opportunities Commissioner since 2013. Her work has focused on numerous issues related to equity and access, including youth unemployment and underachievement in Māori and Pasifika communities, fair pay for carers and the participation of women. She has been vocal about manifestations of rape culture and their impacts on New Zealand society, as well as advocating for the social, economic, and cultural benefit of increasing diversity in government, boards, businesses, education, and leadership.
