Help with the beautification of a Gisborne garden reserve

Help with the weeding, planting and tidying up of Turanga Gardens.

The Turanga Gardens was an initiative of members of the Turanga Lions Club to transform a section of wasteland that was previously an old hospital site. On council reserve, this land is being developed and beautified by a small group of elderly people who would appreciate help with the weeding, planting and tidying up that has been delayed due to Covid 19.  Looking forward, they would like to increase their volunteer base to assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of the site. The gardens are open to the public and are a popular walking track.
