Volunteering New Plymouth matches volunteers looking for volunteering roles with organisations searching for people with specific skills in a wide range of categories including administration, governance, advocacy, children and youth, elderly/family care, arts and the environment. From getting meals to those that need it to helping with events to befriending/assisting the elderly, there are a variety of roles becoming available, two of which are listed below. 

Social Media Assistant – support Volunteering New Plymouth with guidance about social media and uploading info on volunteering to their various social media platforms.

Volunteer Voices support – Help the volunteering centre contact volunteers who have agreed to record their "I volunteer because" stories to allow the recordings to be sent to 104.4FM Access Radio Taranaki during the week of National Volunteer Week, 21-27 June.

Other support – various roles with Salvation Army Family Store, Red Cross Shop, and the Taranaki Cancer Society.
