Volunteering Bay of Plenty advocates, connects, educates and promotes excellence in volunteering. They have a membership of more than 80 organisations that utilise volunteers to deliver essential services and programmes to the community. There are a variety of roles available in retail, education, health, conservation and the environment, the elderly and most vulnerable. New and updated roles include mentors, counsellors, grief support, shop assistants, admin and committee members.
