This course assumes that participants have a basic of structural equation modelling and experience with using Mplus. Participants who do not possess these are strongly encouraged to attend the 2-day Introduction to Structural Equation Modelling with Mplus first.
This 1-day workshop presents Latent Variable Growth Curve Modelling (LGM) for analysing longitudinal studies with latent variables. It provides:
- the basic concepts behind LGM and the assumptions involved,
- understanding of various shape of growth over time,
- understanding of LGM involving predictors of change and consequences of change, and
- Mplus syntax for testing LGM.
Hands-on data analysis with examples will be provided.
