This study uses hospital record data from the Ministry of Health to examine the morbidity and mortality of Pacific peoples with an intentional self-harm cause of death, 1996–2013. Analysis is by year, specific cause of death, ethnicity, age group, and other variables, and rates for Pacific peoples are compared to those for the whole of New Zealand.
