Description
The aim of this study is to examine the association of SUDI and Service Contact recorded in the Integrated Data Infrastructure, adjusting for ethnicity and sociodemographic factors.
We will test two hypotheses:
- That Service Contact (including maternal mental health services, Child Youth and Family, Department of Corrections) are risk factors for SUDI.
- That the higher rates of SUDI and Service Contact in Māori are attenuated when sociodemographic and environmental SUDI risk factors are taken into account.
