Tuākana Arts YR13 to Uni

Tuākana Arts YR13 to Uni supports Māori and Pacific school leavers to successfully transition from Year 13 into our faculty life.

Tuākana Arts YR13 to Uni is a project designed for Māori and Pacific school leavers from lower decile schools wanting to pursue an Arts (or conjoint) degree at the University of Auckland. We will provide a range of support to ensure a successful transition from Year 13 to an Arts degree.

Tuākana Arts is part of an extensive support system here for Māori and Pacific students. The Tuākana-Teina relationship is found across Māori and Pacific worlds, where the older sibling mentors and nurtures the younger.
