Studying Psychology through a Bachelor of Arts has ignited an interest that Georgia wants to take to postgraduate level.

"I chose to study at the University of Auckland because of its reputation as having a great Psychology programme, which was what I was most interested in. The student lifestyle is absolutely fantastic. There are so many opportunities to get involved with other students through clubs and events, and to have a lot of fun at the same time.

"The subjects that I am taking are so detailed, and the lecturers are so passionate, it has really ignited my excitement for learning. I had never studied Psychology before coming to the University and these subjects have made me genuinely want to become involved in the field and to really help people.

Having a double major has also allowed me to take a wide range of subjects, which has really expanded my knowledge and academic skills.

"I would highly encourage students to take advantage of the huge range of courses available. Take a subject you have a passion for and you will gain so much knowledge and it will open to your eyes to all the incredible career options that are out there.

"I would like to pursue one of the University's postgraduate programmes for Psychology, in order to work within the field of Psychology, ideally in a career that involves working with children and teenagers."
