We welcome you to this symposium which addresses the relation between architecture and the political. We seek to formulate the hopeful, active and productive role architecture may have in the formation of social movements and in transformations of everyday contemporary life. 

With an extensive range of fascinating topics and with a wide international reach, there will be 24 papers presented by established scholars in the fields alongside early career academics and postgraduates.
