The Student Centre Team
Tom is the Student Academic Services & Engagement Manager for the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, and has the pleasure of leading the great Academic Services team. Holding a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture (Professional)(Hons), Tom also teaches architectural design and supervises architecture thesis students.
Daniel is the Student Academic Services Team Leader and coordinates the Student Academic Advisers, Academic Services Co-ordinators and Student Advisers, advising on University and faculty processes related to these roles. Daniel has a Master of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington.
Anastasia is a Student Academic Adviser and manages applications, enrolments and enquiries for Architecture, Dance Studies and Urban Planning. Anastasia graduated with a Bachelor of Education and a Postgraduate Diploma of Educational Leadership and Management from Unitec.
Angelica is a Student Academic Adviser and manages applications, enrolments and enquiries for Design, Fine Arts and Music. Angelica’s previous experience includes providing advice and assistance to students at the English Language Academy.
Cat is responsible for High School Outreach and Engagement, and collaborates with secondary schools and colleges to provide guidance to students approaching tertiary study at the University. She also works on professional development for teachers through initiatives, workshops and engagement events.
Cameron is a Student Support and Experience Adviser and looks after student engagement and experience, as well as wellbeing initiatives. Key responsibilities include coordinating faculty orientation and graduation events, organising the faculty newsletter and acting as secretary for the Faculty Staff and Student Consultative Committee. Cam has previously worked as an Examinations Co-ordinator and Intern, and as a Research Assistant studying gossip in the Faculty of Arts History.
Mali is an Academic Services Co-ordinator, and advises on University processes for students in the Dance, Urban Planning and Urban Design programmes, as well as faculty-wide queries relating to Masters examinations.
Michele is an Academic Services Coordinator and advises on University processes for students in the Music and Fine Arts programmes, as well as faculty-wide queries relating to scholarships. Michele holds a B.A. in English from Florida International University, a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University, an M.A. in Business and Workplace Education from New York University and is currently a doctoral student at Pepperdine University.
Sock-Cheng is an Academic Services Co-ordinator, and can advise on matters relating to the published student course timetable and online room bookings for staff.
Theresa is an Academic Services Co-ordinator and can advise on University processes for students in the Architecture and Design programmes as well as faculty-wide doctoral matters. Theresa has previously worked for Applications and Admissions, the International Office and the School of Graduate Studies.
Marlita is an Academic Analyst providing analysis to support management decision making. Marlita has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Auckland and a
Postgraduate Diploma in Business from Massey University.
Eliana is a Student Adviser and assists with student enquiries and administrative duties. Eliana is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree.
Karl is a Student Adviser and assists with student enquiries and administrative duties. Karl is currently studying towards a Master of Architecture (Professional) degree.
