Faculty of Education and Social Work Experience Day

What’s it like to study here? Have an inside look into campus life and what it’s like to be a student here. Join one of our current students on a tour of the campus. Talk to a student adviser and find out more about the courses on offer.

Our friendly, welcoming and fun Experience Days are a great way to get a first-hand idea of what it’s like to be a student here. Come along with your friends or sign up and make new friends. We provide morning tea and lunch. This day is perfect for those who might be unsure of their interests as they can select sessions from various programmes.

Postgraduate Information Sessions

The Faculty of Education and Social Work offers a range of postgraduate programmes and research opportunities. Attend one of our information sessions throughout the year to find out how we can help you enhance your career, gain new knowledge and start researching important issues that affect people's lives everyday.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Speak with academic staff, supervisors and programme advisers to get advice on programmes and courses in education.
  • Have the opportunity to speak with current studentsLearn about professional development, research opportunities and advancing in your area of interest.
  • Hear from, and network with, current students and graduates.
  • Find out about taught courses, research opportunities, how you can mix the two together, and what programme is best suited to your needs and aspirations.
  • Ask questions about applying, enrolling, and entry requirements.
  • Find out about scholarships and what support is available to you.

Our Information Sessions are held at Epsom Campus and Tai Tokerau Campus in Whangarei. Registration to these events will be open throughout the year. By indicating your interest in any or all of these events we will email you with the programme and registration information when they become available.
