Renee’s studies in Tai Tokerau are helping her to achieve her dream of teaching all around the world.
“My passions for helping people and learning led me to a career in teaching. Teachers have been some of the most influential people in my life, giving me the confidence to be myself, so I want to have a positive impact on the lives of children of the future.
“The Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary programme content is very relevant, interesting and enjoyable. It’s inspiring learning the theory then going out and seeing it in action through practicums.
“The new knowledge I have developed, and the opportunities I have had throughout my study journey have made this one of the best experiences of my life so far.
“I’m really thankful for the opportunity to study teaching at home in Whangārei. The learning environment at Tai Tokerau Campus is like no other – the community is so inclusive and friendly, and you build so many supportive relationships that will last a lifetime.
“I’m looking forward to becoming a registered teacher and travelling to different countries to teach all around the world.”
