Krystal Worters - Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Huarahi Māori
With a passion for te reo Māori, studying a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Huarahi Māori specialisation allows Krystal Worters to pass on her love of te reo to our next generation.
“Over the last three years, studying te reo Māori has been the vehicle that has grown my love for teaching. I have had the pleasure of teaching te reo to a range of diverse individuals. I have taught children, adults, kaumātua and whānau. I have also worked as a Kaiāwhina within a Kura Kaupapa Māori and it was there that I realised how important a positive impact is on young child's life.
“I would recommend studying Huarahi Māori to all Māori who have a passion to help aid our younger generations reach their potential. The Huarahi Māori programme is not limited to Māori only. If you have a love for our reo and are willing to further develop your current knowledge in te reo Māori and Te Ao Māori, then Huarahi Māori is for you!”
“If you are unsure about taking the leap, don't think about it, Apply!”
