The Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) is an unmissable opportunity that allows you to refine your research elevator pitch, enhance your presentation skills and drive the impact of your research.

This year we saw 12 of our FMHS Doctoral Candidates take on a room full of people and explain the entirety of their thesis research in just three minutes at the faculty’s heat on Thursday 6 July.

We saw a whole lot of passion and wide range of research presentations and are proud to congratulate the winner Anantha Narayanan who went on to participate in the University’s final on 4 August where he placed runner up.
