Learn how to use the built in power of Excel by using visual basic macros to automate routine activities. Save time and effort. Improve your consistency and accuracy with repetitive procedures.

  • Recording and editing VB code
  • Add simple input and alert boxes to make the macros interactive
  • Add basic programming structures such as conditional statements and looping
  • Create a simple function macro to perform a custom calculation

  • Learn the fundamentals of visual basic macros within Excel
  • Learn to modify these macros where necessary

This is an advanced level workshop which is suitable for those who have completed the prerequisite or who are competent with the topics covered in that workshop. Before registering for this workshop, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are competent with the topics covered in the prerequisite workshop. 

Notes

PC and Mac computers are available on a first come, first served basis. Excel 2013 is used. Also suitable for 2010 users.
