Kirsten’s experience in the IT industry spans 25 years and includes technical, service delivery, client relationship and senior leadership roles.
Kirsten is currently Government and Health Leader for IBM Australia & New Zealand, with responsibility for deepening industry expertise and ensuring IBM brings a strong point of view and delivers value to clients in the Government and Health sectors.
In her previous role, Kirsten was the Client Leader for the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection, and prior to that she was a Project Executive supporting IBM’s relationship with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service. In 2013, Kirsten was one of 500 IBMers from around the world to be recognised by IBM’s global CEO for her outstanding leadership and contribution. Kirsten was recognised for her work with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service, in particular her collaboration skills and sharing with 100+ individuals across IT delivery, architecture, commercial, and program disciplines.
Kirsten’s early career with IBM included a variety of roles in support of IBM clients in the Financial Services Sector.
Kirsten has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Bachelor of Business Science Honors First from UNSW.
