Introducing the 2017 CDES STM (Science, Technology and Maths) Career Expo, formerly the Innovation and Technology Expo. The evolution of this expo reflects the rapid growth and multi-faceted nature of the Science, Tech and Maths areas. Whether you're in your first or final year, from Medical and Health Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Computer Science or somewhere else altogether, there will be something for you.

These employers, spanning multiple industries and sectors, want to talk to you!

Why you should attend

  • This is your annual opportunnity to speak face-to-face with potential future employers.
  • Discover new technology and opportunities at the brand new Demo Corner.
  • Find out about a range of internship and graduate opportunities and get top tips and advice for successful applications.
  • Stand out from the crowd and get noticed by your favourite employers.
  • We will be running additional activities at the expo to help you make a lasting impression (for the right reasons). See “At the Expo” below for more info.
  • It’s free, fun and an opportunity to begin thinking seriously about your career or which grad programme and organisation is right for you.

At the Expo

Brand New Demo Corner

  • Xero, Serato, ASB, Stretch Sense, EROAD and the University of Auckland’s very own Centre of eResearch will be demonstrating the latest in technology, giving you the opportunity to test and trial these during the event.
  • Live coding (Xero), showcasing control vinyl (Serato), trialling the new clever kash (ASB) and getting to grips with AR (Centre for eResearch) – these are just a few of the demos taking place. Find out more on our website about what these products are and stay tuned for more organisations who will be taking part!
